Cole Peacock for State Representative · District 73

Read some of the positive things people in our community have said about Cole and his campaign.

As many of you may know, Cole Peacock is running for State Representative in District 73 and I am honored to be on his Advisory Board for this campaign. Cole has been a friend, business associate and advisor for over 15 years and I have always been impressed with his knowledge of and dedication to whatever he does. Cole’s experience as a business leader with Chico’s, his service on the Board of Directors for countless local charities, and his political savvy make him uniquely qualified to represent the district in which he’s resided most of his life.

Cole has the ability to connect with people in a way that is candid, caring and convincing. He already knows his way around the halls of our State Capitol and has earned the respect and trust of many legislators. As owners of a small business, my husband and I know that Cole will have our backs as a pro-business candidate who also has a passion for fairness and empathy with people. Cole’s supporters are not only Democrats but many Independents and Republicans are also in his corner. – Sally Maitland – Feb. 17th 2010

I’m hoping that you will join me in supporting my friend Cole Peacock for State Representative in Florida. I’ve worked alongside Cole for years on the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce board of directors. He’s been very active throughout our community trying to make this the paradise we all dream off. He is PRO-BUSINESS and will work hard for those of us here in southwest Florida. Let’s put some fresh ideas to work in Tallahassee. Cole is the man for the job!

Cole and his wife Rachel are good friends of mine and Cole is running for State Representative. Do not ignore this when you see that Cole is a Democrat. Cole is a good, honest, people person who is actually out for our best interest. He would be a great set of ears and a voice for all of us as he lives here in Ft. Myers and makes himself available at all times. Cole has helped me out in the past with the My Safe Florida Home Program, in which in turn has helped everyone of you to some capacity. Take a look at his web site and his schedule and see if any of you can find the time to come to his fund raiser. He will need all the support that we can give him, and with that support, he can do this.

Cole has been an important contributor to our community over the years and has extensive legislative knowledge. He is well qualified to represent us in Tallahassee. As a local business person he also has the tools and knowledge to work effectively on the issues facing us in these trying economic times in Southwest Florida. Additionally he has been a good friend of Diana and mine for many years.

I am a volunteer with Dave Aronberg’s campaign and was making calls today. I had the privilege of speaking to Cole’s mom and she asked me to vote for Cole, but I do not live in dist 73 I live just south in 75. I will however make a recommendation to my friends for Cole who live in his potential dist. Best of luck with the campaign! Matt Wallace

On 7/29/2010 I attended a meeting of 10 to 12 hotel General Managers from around Lee County to meet and listen to Cole Peacock, candidate for the 73rd District State Representative. What I did was meet a young man who is committed to making his district, Fort Myers, Lee County and Florida a better place. Cole didn’t give a campaign speech, he asked us what he could do to help us, business people in the hospitality industry of Lee County. He wanted to LEARN about our industry, our concerns and ideas that he may take to Tallahassee that would help him serve us better. He took notes!
Cole did take time to educate us on his family and his Fort Myers roots. He told us about his family and some of the things that he felt he had contributed to at Chico’s.
When I returned to work I did some research on this young candidate and decided that whatever I could do to help him get elected, I would. Unfortunately I don’t live in Cole’s district but I am convinced that he will make Fort Myers and Lee County a better place to do business,to work and live in if he is given the opportunity.
I’m happy that I went to that meeting yesterday and I’m happy to do what I can to get Cole Peacock to be our Representative.
